Research shows that, whatever our abilities expressing ourselves through art, it can have a positive impact on our health and that the beneficial effects of creating aren't dependent on our skill or talents. Whether you just want to be able to draw, use it for fun and pleasure, perhaps express something from your imagination or your own development; Art truly has the ability to take you anywhere. Under the guidance of Sam your level of experience doesn’t matter - it’s the taking part that counts!
Session Brief
Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an
artist once we grow up.
- Pablo Picasso

We all know that to stay
physically healthy we need our
5 A Day minimum of 400g

At The Bee Tree Community
we also believe in 4 A Day;
to maintain our overall wellbeing
we need to pay attention to
not only our physical health,
but our emotional, mental
and spiritual health too:

Session Details
How Does
It Work?
The group usually works to a theme or project for a few weeks. Sam will provide a list of art materials needed for the project in advance. Each week Sam will explain and guide members through the process of sketching, drawing and/or painting. Alternatively, if you have your own project you are welcome bring that along instead.

What Do
I Need?
You will need your laptop or mobile device, your session zoom link, a quiet space and your art materials.

What Do
I Do?
Sam begins by recapping where everyone is up to and checking everyone is ok. She will then guide you through the session by demonstrating and explaining and encouraging you to practice techniques, ask questions and discuss your ideas. Sam is on hand thorughout if you need help, sharing tips, ideas and information as we go along.
