Session Brief

Where do you sing - in the shower, in the garden? What do you sing - musicals, pop, opera? With so many physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health benefits we must be crazy if we don't sing! Singing together is not just good for us, it's also great fun. Every week is about creating a safe space full of laughs where we feel confident enough to try to be in tune and laugh when we inevitably aren't! This group is suitable for all abilities and of course you're more than welcome to join us to just listen and sing only when you want to, there really is no pressure.

Session Details

How Does

It Work?

Each week has a theme and we start by introducing the songs for the session. We sing through them line by line and we get to practice before we put it all together. We can sing a line alone (if you feel confident enough) and we sing together. If you don't feel like singing, you can come and listen.

What do

I Need?

For the session you will need your laptop or mobile device and session zoom link, a notepad and pen in case you want to write anything down and of course your singing voice. Lyrics for the week can be found on this page if you scroll down and click the PDF file. You can choose to view lyrics on a different device (eg use your laptop/ipad for zoom and have the lyrics up on your phone) or you can print the lyrics off too.

What Do

I Do?

Our host will lead the session, so you just get to be there and sing, as much or as little as you want to.
